Unemployment and the Depression - like, now
an interesting fact of the day:
As of today over 6 million Americans – or 45 percent of all unemployed workers – have been jobless for more than six months - a higher percentage than during the Great Depression.
Ok, I tried not to be depressing, but that's a pretty bad percentage. Happy Monday.

Ok, this forum says to "sound off" so I think I will.
Let's take a hard look at these numbers - they indicate that the people who are jobless have simple STOPPED looking. It's not that jobs are disappearing necessarily, but people have given up. And why wouldn't they with taxpayer-funded benefits rolling in???
