I've been noticing this over the past month or two...economists and experts writing op-ed pieces making comparisons on the current economic state to that of the Great Depression. This article in USA TODAY confirmed my hunch. It's a great piece...not a scare tactic, but any means, but a good reminder that unemployment and consumer confidence are still driving factors in a poor economy. It's too early to be declaring victory or that the Great Recession is over (like I often hear from our current administration).
